Arizona launches website to help parents track performance of state schools

The website displays the A-F letter grade for each school while providing federal and state reports and showcasing other school details.

PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Education has launched a website with the intent of creating a resource that helps parents track the performance of public schools across the state.

According to a release, the School Report Cards website will serve as an "accountability platform."

The website displays the A-F letter grade for each school while providing federal and state reports and showcasing other school details.

The department says it's now all in "one convenient location."

According to a release from the department, parents, teachers, administrators and policymakers throughout the state all had a hand in creating the website.

The release says a section for early childhood and preschool will be added along with a section for school highlights, providing schools the ability to promote features and attributes unique to that school or district.
