SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. — The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is looking for the driver in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a motorcyclist last week.

The crash happened on April 9 on El Mirage Road south of Loop 303 just outside of Sun City West.

A blue four-door passenger car – possibly a 2017 to 2020 Hyundai Accent – hit the motorcyclist and drove away southbound on El Mirage Road, the sheriff's office said.

The car that fled the scene was missing its passenger-side mirror and may have more damage on that side.

If you have any information about the hit-and-run, contact MCSO at (602) 876-1011 or Tips@mcso.maricopa.gov. Please reference Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Report IR20-010477.
