Police on the hunt for suspect who robbed a beauty supply store

Officers are on the lookout for woman who robbed beauty shop

PHOENIX - Police are hoping you can help them track down an armed robber. Detectives say a suspect casually committed a crime a local beauty supply shop and made off with cash.

Officers have vivid images of the woman they say calmly walked into a Sally's Beauty Supply and threatened employees.

“They already had a plan, you can tell by the she's walking around, she's looking around the store,” Det. Mike Fisher said. “A white female walks in the store while the clerk was helping another customer at the register.”

Detective Fisher says criminals typically wait until witnesses, or in the case customers, leave the business before robbing it.

“We see the suspect walk behind the counter toward the employee by the register and she asked for all the money that was inside the register,” he said.

The early morning April 12 robbery not stopping at just a fast cash grab.

“She also motioned at her waistband like as if she had a gun, she kind of pointed to her waistband and the employee took it as a threat,” Det. Fisher said.

The suspect has short spiky black hair, 25-35 years old with a medium build and we're told she took off on foot with the company's cash.
