Three suspects were never found after a crime spree through Mesa and Chandler that included a carjacking, aiming guns at an off-duty cop, and a chase through a busy mall.

The Arizona's Most Wanted podcast delves into some of the most infamous unsolved crimes around the state. New episodes are released on Tuesdays.

Episode 5: Chandler crime spree suspects

A crime spree through Mesa and Chandler, suspects aiming guns at an off-duty cop, and a chase through a busy mall. The three brazen suspects have never been found.

It started with a carjacking. A man was stuffed into his own trunk by a man with a distinctive tattoo. A few hours later, that same man was spotted robbing another driver in Chandler, then led an off-duty cop on a chase through a busy mall parking lot before confronting him with a gun.

Three suspects, including one with a distinctive tattoo, were on the loose, casually making their escape and then disappearing.

Episode 4: Ruben Perez Rivera

Ruben Perez Rivera allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and was deported by mistake, never facing justice for those charges. Then, investigators say, he sneaked back across the border from Mexico, tracked down his girlfriend and attacked again...this time killing his own cousin. He hasn’t been seen since.

Episode 3: Who killed Adrienne Salinas?

Adrienne Salinas disappeared in 2013 after a fight with her boyfriend, a car crash and a late night party. Fourteen minutes was enough for Salinas to vanish from the streets of Tempe.

Two months later, her body was found in the desert miles away. Cops are baffled, not only about who abducted and killed her, but even how and when she died.

This episode of Arizona’s Most Wanted is about an unknown suspect, but one that police have been trying to find for three years. Who killed Adrienne Salinas?

Episode 2: Jason Derek Brown

For $56,000, Jason Derek Brown allegedly became a fugitive. Brown portrayed himself as a wealthy man, a playboy who had all the toys a bachelor could want. But police said, in reality, he was far from rich. He was living on credit, spending above his means, and looking for money.

In November of 2004, Brown allegedly waited outside the AMC Theater in Ahwatukee for an armored car to arrive. When it did, Brown walked up to the driver and shot him five times in the head, according to police.

Investigators said Brown took a bag with $56,000 in it and disappeared. For a while, police tracked him in cars they knew he owned. But when he made a sudden turn that surprised them, cops lost him. He was never seen again.

Episode 1: Robert Fisher

Perhaps the most famous Arizona fugitive of all time, Robert Fisher is wanted for triple murder and arson. He allegedly murdered his wife and two children in 2001, then rigged his house to explode to cover his tracks.

Fisher apparently lived a double life, attending church with his family while allegedly having an affair with a prostitute.

The FBI said he was a controlling husband and his wife was about to leave him. But before she could leave, the FBI said he killed her and their children.

Fisher went on the run immediately after the murder. Ten days later authorities found his wife’s car abandoned in the forest near Payson, with the family dog.

Tracks suggested Fisher had gone into a large cave system nearby. But no other trace of Fisher was ever found.

An avid outdoorsman and survivalist, the FBI believes Fisher could be anywhere. He’s currently on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, as investigators believe he’s still alive.
