13-year-old girl, 18-year-old man arrested in Phoenix Uber Eats carjacking

Police are still searching for a third suspect in the attack, which left the driver with serious injuries.

PHOENIX — Police have arrested two teens in relation to the carjacking and attack of an Uber Eats driver last week.

Nehemiah Gee, 18, and an unidentified 13-year-old girl allegedly demanded the driver's vehicle at gunpoint near 24th Street and Baseline Road Feb. 5, police said Wednesday.

The Phoenix Police Department is still searching for a third suspect in the case.

The driver had serious but non-life-threatening injuries after the attack, and the suspects took off with his car.

Uber Eats released a brief statement after the incident, saying, "What the driver experienced is disturbing, and we stand ready to work with police on the investigation."
