PHOENIX - As teachers get ready to walk out Thursday if their demands aren't met, many school districts across the state have announced plans for the walkout.
Although many will close schools for the duration of the walkout, several districts will still offer meals for those students that need them.
This list will be updated as more school districts, food banks or other organizations announce their meal plans for families or kids that depend of them.

School districts
Buckeye Elementary School District
Schools will be open from 8 a.m. until noon to serve breakfast and lunch.
Deer Valley Unified School District
Starting Monday, April 30, DVUSD is opening several schools for any child under 18 to receive a lunchtime meal. Paseo Hills Elementary will serve 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Constitution Elementary School will serve meals 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mirage Elementary will serve 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Village Meadows Elementary will serve 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Deer Valley Community Center will serve 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Creighton Elementary School District
Although there will be no classes, schools will be providing breakfast and lunch for students.
Globe Unified School District
The district plans to make 900 sack lunches to send home with students Wednesday who normally eat school lunches.
Litchfield Elementary School District
Breakfast and lunch will be provided to any person under 18 at Barbara B. Robey Elementary School, Corte Sierra Elementary School, Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School, and Wigwam Creek Middle School.
Osborn School District
Students will be able to get breakfast (7:30-8:30 a.m.) and lunch (noon-1 p.m.) each day.
Paradise Valley Unified School District
Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students who need it.
Pendergast Elementary School District
With schools closed April 26 through April 30, maybe even longer, bag breakfasts and lunches will be provided to students if parents pick them up.
Roosevelt School District
Meals will be served to students from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at all schools except John F. Kennedy Elementary School, Amy L. Houston Academy, and Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.
C.O. Greenfield Elementary School and Percy L. Julian Elementary School will be providing meals for students from those schools in addition to their own students.
Scottsdale Unified School District
The district will be serving free breakfast and lunch meals to kids 18 years or younger at Oak Learning Academy, Hohokam Elementary, Navajo Elementary, Tavan Elementary, Tonalea K-8 and Yavapai Elementary.
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Tolleson Elementary School District
Despite school closures, school cafeterias will remain open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast: 7 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Dinner: 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Food banks
You can find a food bank near you through the Association of Arizona Food Banks website.
St. Mary's Food Bank
St. Mary's said in a release that it's in the process of finding temporary sites to replace school locations closed during the walkout. The food bank also plans to increase food production by 25 percent if schools remain closed beyond Friday.
Hillside Baptist
Located at 1344 W. Thunderbird Road, the church will provide lunch for students and families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All Saints Lutheran
The church wil provide lunch for students and families between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The church is located at 15649 N. 7th Street.
Turf Mobile Manor
Lunch will be available to students and families between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Turf Mobile Manor is located at 15601 N. 19th Avenue.
Other
Peoria Community Center
The City of Peoria is working with school districts in the area to identify students that receive free and reduced lunch. The Peoria Community Center will provide lunch services to those students.
AZ Brainfood
The local nonprofit, which already provides meals for students in need on the weekends, will provide free meals for students during the teacher walkout.
Free breakfast for kids in South Phoenix
According to a release, a free breakfast will be provided to kids in south Phoenix on the first day of the walkout from 7 to 9 a.m. The breakfast will be provided at South Phoenix Missionary Baptist Church.
Salvation Army
A limited supply of basic food items is available, while supplies last, between 10 a.m. and noon on Thursday and Friday, even if a walkout does not occur. It's estimated that this supply could accomodate close to 100 families per day at each location listed here:
