Don't fall for this IRS scam during tax time

Arizona law enforcement is seeing a spike in IRS scams and other tricks used by scammers.

Scammers are out in full force, trying to trick you out of your hard-earned money. Share these scam alerts with your friends so they don't fall victim.

An IRS scam has hit Yuma County, Arizona, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office. Scammers appeal to people's fear of the Internal Revenue Service, and demand payment with or risk being arrested.

Scammers may also try to convince you your family is in danger. They may pose as grandchildren, or tell you your family is in danger.
