'Uptown Funk' by Bruno Mars voted top song of the decade by 12 News followers

The Billboard’s top songs, Grammy Record of the Year winners and streaming numbers revealed the best performing songs of the decade.

The 2010s was the decade for a resurgence of electronic funk, heart-wrenching ballads and singing rappers. 

During the past ten years of music, we’ve heard the best of seasoned artists and a new wave of talent. These artists have turned out songs we jam to in the car, pump to at the gym and sing to at karaoke night.  

Compiling this list of top songs of the decade wasn’t easy. The subject roused quite the debate in the newsroom
