Nearly 1 in 3 American adults is afraid to fly.

Several airports and major airlines offer courses for people who are scared to fly like Virgin, British Airways, and EasyJet.

The course is complete with representatives of the cabin crew, psychologists who offer coping techniques, and the experience to board a real flight.

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have helped over 50,000 people tackle fear of flying in the last 30 years.

Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport has been offering a similar course for the past 30 years.

93% of nervous flyers have overcome their fears enough to board a commercial flight in the fourth session.

U.S. Airlines aren't doing enough to help people get over their fears since it's mainly overseas carriers offering programs.
