Emma anchors Today in AZ with Paul Gerke.
She began her career in the city that never sleeps, New York! Emma first started as an associate producer at ABC Primetime. From there, she flew across the globe with NBC Universal to cover the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, later earning her first Emmy Award for the coverage. From Beijing to Idaho, Emma began working as an anchor and reporter at KIFI. In 2010, she was asked to join the NBC team again for the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. After two years of freezing temperatures in Idaho Falls, she married the love of her life and moved to the Valley of the sun to join 12 News.
Emma has covered stories ranging from the Wallow fire in 2011 to the London Olympic games in 2012. Emma looks to report on stories that improve and enrich the lives of others. She enjoys interviewing and learning more about the passionate people here in Arizona and hopes to make her viewers proud by keeping them informed.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband, who works extremely hard to convert her into the Arizona sports fan he is. They enjoy going to Diamondbacks games, Suns games and watching countless hours of the Arizona Cardinals. When she's in charge, Emma loves being outside and soaking up the Phoenix sun. She is always on the hunt for new Mexican restaurants so if you have any recommendations send them her way.
