12 News partners with research powerhouse comScore

comScore brings massive database of precise and targeted viewership data; considered a “difference maker” in understanding Arizona’s television landscape.

PHOENIX – 12 News/KPNX, the TEGNA owned NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona, announced today a partnership with comScore, the nationally recognized research company specializing in live and time-shifted broadcast and cable television insights and analytics.

The partnership will have immediate impact for local advertisers and consumers, casting a deeper, more comprehensive lens around the dynamic Phoenix television market. The comScore research tools include reliable, real time consumer data, including advanced information on buying habits of viewers across media platforms.

What the 12 News/comScore partnership means for Arizona advertisers:

KPNX will move to primarily using comScore data effective May 2017. It will also become the primary source for audience estimating during the 2nd quarter and forward for KPNX advertisers.
