12 News Honored with 10 Rocky Mountain Emmy® Awards

PHOENIX, AZ, September 24, 2018 – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at the 41st Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards recognized 12 News with 10 Emmy awards including “Overall Excellence,” “Breaking News,” and “Best Anchor.”

12 News won Emmy gold in the following categories:

Overall Excellence

Best Anchor: Mark Curtis

Best Morning Newscast: 12 Today

Best Evening Newscast: 12 News at 6pm

Breaking News: Clashes at President Trump Rally

Best Sports Program: Cardinals Locker Room

Community Affairs Program Special: Common Ground

News Producer: Christy Bricks

Sports Reporter: Tresa Tudrick

Video Journalist: Bryan West

“The Emmy represents the ultimate in quality and excellence! Other special honors include legendary sports anchor Bruce Cooper’s induction into the Silver Circle Society in recognition of 25 years of excellence and community service. 12 News alumnus Kent Dana also received the Governors' Award in recognition of his lifetime achievements.
