Sarah is a lovable girl who loves cats and horses

"Sarah is just an all-around loveable girl that just longs for a family to call her own and help her mature and grow into a young lady."

PHOENIX - Sarah saddled up at Saber Creek Ranch in Surprise. Sarah is a seventh-grader who loves horses and longs for the love of a forever family.

"Sarah is just an all-around loveable girl that just longs for a family to call her own and help her mature and grow into a young lady," said Crysta Hernandez from the Aid to Adoption of Special Kids (AASK).

Sarah demonstrated a knack for handling horses during her time with instructor Sue Cherry at Saber Creek Ranch in Surprise. But her interests aren't limited to horseback riding.

"I like volleyball. The shows I like to watch are Once Upon a Time and Arrow. I want to be an animal rescuer. Things I would like to do would be go to the movies, handing out with other family members, and have family trips," Sarah said.

Because she loves cats, Sarah would like her forever family to love cats, too. But what she really wants from adoptive parents is simple.

“Sarah would definitely benefit from a strong female role model -- someone who’s patient, somebody who’s caring and definitely has experience with young people. Also a very patient father figure, someone who can make her feel safe. She’s a kid that thrives off of consistency, so as long as she has a family that can provide that from a day-to-day basis, she would just fit right in,” said Hernandez.
