Phoenix man caught with more than 1,000 child porn videos and photos

"There's children's toys all over the living room and there's no children at the home. There's no young children. So what does that lead you to believe?" said Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez of MCSO.

PHOENIX - An investigation by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office cyber crimes unit found that a Phoenix man possessed and shared more than 1,200 videos and photos depicting child pornography.

Stanley Swiacki, 50, was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail on ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. That is a class two felony and a dangerous crime against children.

"These are just horrible acts against children," said Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez with MCSO.

Investigators searched Swiacki's home near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road in Phoenix. They found more than 1,200 files on his laptop, among other disturbing items around his house.

"There's children's toys all over the living room and there's no children at the home. There's no young children. So what does that lead you to believe?" Enriquez said.

Swiacki is no stranger to law enforcement, with at least two prior allegations against him involving young boys. In 2011 in Chino Valley, police say a mom caught him lying on top of an 8-year-old boy in a playground slide, touching him inappropriately.

"This has led us to where we're at right now. So he is in our custody. He is behind bars," said Enriquez.

Officials said there could be more victims out there.
