William Pitts is an award-winning journalist who's spent more than half his life telling stories all over the West. Will is originally from Arizona and moved all over the state from Glendale to Greer, Eagar, Flagstaff and Prescott.
He got his start in journalism at 15 when he was hired as a teen reporter for the Apache County Observer. In a few months he was promoted to Senior Staff Reporter and supervised a staff of 15.
He attended Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism where he won the prestigious Hearst National Journalism Championship for Radio Reporting. From Tempe, Will went north to Washington state where he made the jump to television at KEPR (Pasco, WA) and KREM (Spokane, WA) before finally coming home to Phoenix.
He lives in Phoenix with his wife, daughter and dog.
