Adam Bagni is a weekend anchor, reporter, and multi-skilled journalist for 12 News. He anchors weekend editions of 12 Today, reports for the 12 News Night Team, and is also a member of the 12 News I-Team.
Prior to joining 12 News, Adam was a reporter at 7News, WHDH in Boston. He previously served as an reporter/anchor at WJAR in Providence, RI, and as Sports Director at WNCF in Montgomery, AL.
Adam’s work has also been featured in the Associated Press, Washington Post, Boston Globe, USA Today, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
His reporting has led to the resignations of local health officials, the termination of a fire chief, and the revelation of alleged abuse by a collegiate coach that was later featured in Sports Illustrated.
Adam conducted an exclusive interview with the jury that convicted NFL star Aaron Hernandez of murder, exposed the largest case of animal cruelty in the Northeast, and uncovered misuse of public funds by a local fire chief.
He’s also reported remotely from the White House, during Pope Francis’ visit to the United States, and at numerous major sporting events.
In sports, he’s contributed to coverage of the Super Bowl, World Series, BCS Championship, Stanley Cup Finals, and Little League World Series.
Adam’s other credits include radio work at WEEI, and behind-the-scenes contributions for NESN, ESPN, FOX Sports, and NBC Olympics.
He’s a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia and is an 8-time EMMY Award nominee.
