Thunderstorms drench parts of the Valley

The day before the 4th of July, parts of the Valley woke to a light show and loud booms as thunderstorms rolled across the region, soaking roadways during Friday's morning commute.

The early morning moisture is expected to decrease as the day progresses, making way for a hot 4th of July.
