Lightning and drizzles hit the Valley and Pinal County

For the first time in nearly two months, parts of the Valley are seeing a bit of precipitation Thursday night.

Some sparse rain clouds made their way through the Phoenix area from the east.

There was more lightning than rain in Phoenix.

Meanwhile, there was more lightning to the south of Phoenix, along with gusting winds.

Casa Grande could see some blowing dust Thursday evening as winds gust up to 40 miles per hour. There's also rain associated with the storm in that area.

We are expecting more precipitation through the weekend for the first big storm push of monsoon.
