Westbound Loop 202 reopens after crash involving DPS trooper

Crash on Loop 202 closed WB early Monday morning in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Westbound Loop 202 reopened just after 10 a.m. Monday at 24th Street after a crash, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed one of its troopers was involved in the wreck. 

The civilian vehicle rolled, DPS said. The extent of any injuries are not known. 

ADOT said ramps onto the 202 from SR 51 southbound and Interstate 10 westbound were closed. 

Traffic was being routed off the freeway at 24th Street during the incident.
