SEDONA, Ariz. – Nighttime closures for a reconstruction project on State Route 89A from Flagstaff to Sedona ended Monday morning.
Construction first got underway in March.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, this project widened the highway and added passing lanes to help the flow of traffic between Flagstaff and Sedona.
However, there will still be some traffic restrictions as roadside work including cleanup and guardrail installation takes place. This means drivers will still see construction workers along the SR 89A.
