Shaq's son, Shareef O'Neal, commits to Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. - Five-star power forward Shareef O'Neal, the son of NBA Hall of Fame Center Shaquille O'Neal, announced early Wednesday morning he has committed to play at Arizona, according to Josh Gershon with Scout.com.

O'Neal, ranked as Scout's 36th top prospect in the class of 2018, pledged his commitment to Arizona via twitter.

Immediately following his tweet, messages of congratulations were posted on his twitter page, @cynreef, with highlights showcasing his skills.

Shareef, a 6-foot-9, 200-pound power forward from Crossroads High School in Van Nuys, CA, is an athletic four man with good size and good rebounding and defensive skills. 

Shareef and his NBA legend dad visited Arizona on a recruiting trip November 19, 2016. The two were seated court-side next to the UA bench.
