Football season is so close, yet it feels so far.
What better way than to start it off than by holding an NFL youth football camp here in the Valley?
Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson led a group of kids ages 7 to 13 at the Hyundai NFL Youth Camp at the Arizona Sports Complex in Glendale.
According to a release, around 400 kiddos participated in Thursday's football camp.
12 News conducted a Facebook Live from the complex with Johnson.
Johnson spoke about how fatherhood is treating him and what he expects for the upcoming season.
He also joked about how some of the kiddos were super nervous around him, but he kept on encouraging them.
As part of the camp, Hyundai announced its nonprofit organization, Hyundai Hope On Wheels, will donate more than $15 million to children's hospitals across the United States.
