The Arizona Cardinals have addressed the quarterback position amid the uncertainty of starting QB Carson Palmer’s status. Palmer suffered a broken left arm in the team’s 33-0 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and could be out as long as the rest of the season, depending on how things play out.
Arians said the team would not sign a quarterback to the roster, but might add one to the practice squad.
According to Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s John Gambadoro, they have. They have signed someone familiar to local Cardinals fans — former Arizona State Sun Devil Mike Bercovici.

Bercovici has had a couple of stints on the offseason roster and practice squad of the San Diego Chargers.
When he came out of Arizona State as an undrafted rookie, the Cardinals had some interest in him.
He is 6-0, 204 pounds and has a quick release and an above-average arm.
