Cardinals' Palmer cleared to return to practice

Cardinals starting quarterback Carson Palmer has been cleared to practice Wednesday, according to a team spokesperson.

Mark Dalton, the Cardinals' vice president of media relations tweeted that Palmer and linebacker Kevin Minter had both been cleared from the concussion protocol.

Both are expected to practice Wednesday.

Palmer was injured in the team's Oct. 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and missed the Oct. 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers as backup Drew Stanton filled in.

Palmer has completed 90-of-153 passes for 1,150 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.

The Cardinals' next game is Monday when former defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and the New York Jets come to the desert.
