Budda Baker, Chandler Jones are leaders in Pro Bowl voting

Pro Bowl voting has begun and the NFL has released some numbers in fan voting. Two Arizona Cardinals players are up at their respective positions.

No player is among the top 10 in votes so far, but considering the season the team is having, that is no surprise.

What is a surprise is who on the Cardinals leads in voting.

It is not Larry Fitzgerald who leads NFC receivers in Pro Bowl votes. That honor currently belongs to Julio Jones.

It is linebacker Chandler Jones and safety Budda Baker who lead the NFC in votes.

Jones, listed as an outside linebacker, leads the NFC at that position with 50,206 votes. His AFC counterpart, Von Miller, has more than 80,000 votes.

Baker, who has started one NFL game, does not lead NFC safeties. He leads as a special teamer. He has received 29,919 votes as a special teams player.

In the AFC, it is Tyler Matakevich of the Pittsburgh Steelers who leads special teams players in voting with 17,499 votes.

Baker has been fantastic on special teams this season. His 14 special teams tackles is second in the NFL and his 11 solo tackles on special teams leads the league.

Jones is among the league leaders in sacks. He has 10 in 10 games. he is tied for fourth in the entire league and trails only Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence in the NFC. Lawrence has 11.5 sacks.
