TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona Cardinals got back in the 'win' column Thursday night with a 33-21 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
A big reason Arizona got a win was the dominant play of their defensive line.
"Calais (Campbell) obviously put up the big numbers," said Arians. "He had a real nice game last night."
Campbell finished the night with four tackles, two sacks and an interception.
"Hopefully he's going to have a real good one next Monday," joked Arians.
Markus Golden also had a big night, making 10 total tackles, three tackles for a loss and two sacks.
Golden currently leads the league with six sacks and the Cardinals as a team lead the league with 18 sacks.
Arizona, having played on Thursday night, has played an extra game though.
"They put relentless pressure, and we didn't have to blitz much," said Arians about his defense's success Thursday night.
Last year, much was made about the Cardinals inability to get a consistent pass rush.
Arizona has had issues on the field this season, but the pass rush doesn't appear to be one.
