QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. - The Queen Creek Bulldogs are on a bye week.
But that doesn't apply to everyone in the Bulldog football family.
The Queen Creek football moms took the field this week for a flag football game, and it got intense.
The moms of the freshman and sophomores took on the moms of the juniors and seniors. While they did keep score, the game had a much bigger meaning.
Players paid to participate in the game, with proceeds benefiting the Nuke the Leuk cancer organization.
The players stood on the sidelines coaching their moms, as the roles were reversed.
And it was all for a good cause.
