Arizona State hockey drops home opener to Air Force

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Arizona State battled Air Force to the bitter end, but came up short Friday night in their home opener.

The Falcons would hold on to beat the Sun Devils 4-3 at Gila River Arena.

Air Force got on the board first when Ben Kucer beat Robert Levin.

Shortly after though, ASU would tie the game on a Tyler Busch goal.

The game would continue in that back-and-forth fashion.

In the end the Falcons held on for the win.

Air Force and ASU will play Sunday afternoon at Gila River Arena, you can watch the game on the Pac-12 Network.
