Arizona Wildcats set to play Purdue in Foster Farms Bowl in Santa Clara

TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona football team will play Purdue in the 2017 Foster Farms Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 27. It will be streamed live on FOX broadcast network beginning at 6:30 p.m. MST, while being simulcast in Spanish on FOX Deportes.

This is Arizona's fifth bowl appearance in the last six seasons under head coach Rich Rodriguez. This is the school’s first bowl game in the Bay Area.

Quarterback Khalil Tate emerged as one of college football’s most electrifying players in October, leading the Wildcats to a 5-3 record over the last eight games. Included was a perfect 4-0 mark in October, something achieved only once previously in program history. He was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week four straight weeks and rushed for more yards in the month than any FBS player in the last year 10 years.
