Juvenile mountain lion calls for others with unexpected sound

Is it just us or does nature continue to provide a never-ending supply of surprise and unusual things?

Take the mountain lion, for example.

According to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, mountain lions have a robust population, not only in Arizona, but one that reaches as far as the southern tip of Argentina to northern British Columbia.

But despite being so widespread and a top predator, mountain lions are shy and elusive, and sightings can be rare.

Thanks to Jason Craig and his trail camera ( a Browning Recon Force FHD for all you hunters) in northern Colorado, the internet is getting to see, or bet yet, hear a side of these majestic creatures that most probable haven't heard before.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service shared Jason's video on its Facebook page with the caption "Nature always surprises. This juvenile mountain lion calls for others and it's not what you'd expect."
