Valley Metro light rail schedule for NCAA Final Four events

PHOENIX - The bracket is set and this year the big college basketball games and festivities are here in the Valley.

If you’re attending any of the NCAA Final Four events, Valley Metro Rail is offering additional service frequency so you can get to the game in time for tip-off without the traffic hassle.

GETTING TO FINAL FOUR FAN FEST

Light rail will operate March 31 and April 1 until 2 a.m., and April 2 - 3 until 12 a.m.

Getting to Fan Fest at the Phoenix Convention Center:

• Exit light rail at 3rd Street/Washington Street (westbound) 
• Exit light rail at 3rd Street/Jefferson Street (eastbound)

GETTING TO NCAA MARCH MADNESS MUSIC FESTIVAL

Light rail will operate March 31 and April 1 until 2 a.m., and April 2 - 3 until 12 a.m.

Getting to March Madness Music Festival at Margaret T. Hance Park:
• Exit light rail at McDowell Road/Central Avenue
• Exit light rail Roosevelt Street/Central Avenue

Bus service

This special bus service runs from 19th Avenue and Montebello station in Phoenix to University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale. Buy an all-day pass in advance. These are available from fare vending machines. These are the dates of this special line:

REESE’S FINAL FOUR FRIDAY

Friday, March 31
Special bus service runs every 30 minutes from 9 a.m. - 11 p.m. 

FINAL FOUR SEMIFINALS

Saturday, April 1
Special bus service runs every 30 minutes from noon - 11 p.m.

NCAA MEN’S BASKETBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Monday, April 3
Special bus service runs every 30 minutes from noon - 11 p.m.

Know before you go

• Pack light
• Clear bag policy in place at events
• All items are subject to search
• Only small clutch bags (with or without handle) that do not exceed 5.5” x 8.5” will be allowed into events
• Clear plastic bags that do not exceed 12”x 6” x 12” will be allowed into events

You can park for free at any of the Valley Metro Rail’s 11 park-and-rides. Buy an All-Day Pass for $4 at any Valley Metro Rail fare vending machine.
