14-year-old with terminal illness receives a surprise visit from a motorcycle club

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. - All Jacob Priestley has asked for his birthday are birthday cards, but Saturday morning, he received a surprise visit.

Jacob is 14 and has a terminal disease that attacks his organs and takes his energy away, his father said.

Jacob will turn 15 on August 28, but he's already started receiving birthday surprises.

A local motorcycle club, the Rollin Knights, read his story on social media and decided to surprise him with a very special visit.

The 14-year-old loves motorcycles and was very excited to see that the club visited him, hand-delivering more than 150 cards and a present.

"It was very loud," Jacob said, smiling. "It was very amazing that these people would do this for people like me."

Jacob’s mom said that the birthday cards make him smile and that it’s always good to see him smile, especially because he’s in so much pain most of the time.

"I want them because they make me and my family happy that people are sending cards to a random stranger that they don't even know," Jacob said.

If you want to help Jacob reach his goal of 100,000 birthday cards, you can send one to this address:
