PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns will tip off Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix.
It's a new NBA season, but it's so much more than just basketball.
Wednesday night, the first 15,000 fans to show up will get a free WeArePhx T-shirt.
This year, there is a lot of good food to look forward to as well, including a mac 'n cheese stuffed hot dog, a chicken and doughnut slider, sushi, ahi tuna wontons with wasabe aioli and full-court nachos served in a souvenir basketball bowl.
Tim Kempton, former Suns player said the team's chemistry is very high which will hopefully turn into a successful season.
"You hope it means progress," said Kempton. "They are a very young team [with] couple of 19-year-olds, couple of 20-year-old. So you want to see progress from these guys.
There is also new fan gear and merchandise you can purchase.
But keep your eyes on the court. The team is returning to an older court design with the purple border and the sunburst logo at half court.
"It's always exciting. Opening night and we're looking forward to it," said Kempton.
