Silent Witness offering $1,000 reward in Family Dollar robbery

Authorities say a man jumped over the check out counter of a Family Dollar on the night June 17 and ripped the cash tray from the clerk's grasp.

The suspect emptied the tray then ran out, last seen headed eastbound from the store at 1831 E McDowell Road.

Silent Witness is offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.

He is a described as a 20-year-old Hispanic man. He is around 5-feet-11 and 200 lbs. The suspect also has a script-style tattoo on his left arm and shoulder blade.

According to Silent Witness, the man was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball hate, gray tank top, tan pants and blue Addidas tennis shoes with white trim.
