Scottsdale PD still seeking answers in year-old hit-and-run case

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Maureen Brown was severely injured after being hit by a car Oct. 25, 2015.

The driver fled and Scottsdale police are still seeking answers.

According to police, Brown was struck by the suspect vehicle while she was crossing 124th Street at Sahuaro Drive to attend a “Trunk or Treat” event at the McDowell Mountain Community Church.

Brown suffered injuries that left her in serious condition and required multiple surgeries. She continues to recover one year later.

Police say the only information they have on the suspect's vehicle is that it is a black four-door sedan and believed to have had damage to the front and windshield.

A $20,000 reward being offered through Silent Witness.
