Police search for man accused of sexually assaulting girl

Police released a sketch of a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a girl in Glendale.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The hunt is on for a man accused of grabbing a girl, tackling her, then sexually assaulting her.

The suspect is described as a darker-skinned male in his 20s.

Police say he sexually assaulted the victim on Oct. 17 at around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 55th Avenue and Camelback Road.

The girl also told police that the same suspect approached her two weeks before at an apartment complex near the area.

People in the area are now on edge and keeping an extra eye out as one man, Jose Cabrera, says he’s certain a man matching the suspect’s description approached him and parked a car outside his job site.

“We’re not safe no more,” said Cabrera.

The suspect also has a tattoo on his neck of a word that starts with the letter “C.” Police also say he has a lion with flames and a tiger tattooed on his left leg.

Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information on this man.
