Police: Man shot dog, stole jewels from Phoenix home

Phoenix police are looking for 2 suspects connected to a home burglary.

PHOENIX - Police are looking for a burglary suspect who stole jewelry and electronics from a Phoenix home near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road last month.

Police say the victim family's dog was shot during the theft, and they believe the burglar entered through the dog door.

The victim's credit card was used the next day near I-17 and Happy Valley Road.

Police believe surveillance footage caught the suspect on camera.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-to-late 20s with a red T-shirt, jeans and a white baseball cap.
