Police arrest man accused of shooting, killing dog during burglary

Police say man used victims credit card the next day.

PHOENIX - Phoenix police say they have arrested Brian Tibbits for his involvement in a burglary at a Phoenix home near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road last month.

Police believe Tibbits entered the home through the dog door. The family's dog was shot and killed during the burglary.

Tibbits allegedly stole jewelry and electronics, and used the victim's credit card the next day.
