Workers from Arizona Red Cross to help assist in hurricane aftermath.

SAVANNAH, GA. - Dan Crane has volunteered with the American Red Cross for the past five years and Wednesday morning he was heading to the Georgia coast.

He is there to help assist volunteers already stationed throughout the Hurricane Matthew aftermath.

"Even though the client has been through a traumatic experience," he said. "The people that are trying to help them also go through an experience. We want to make sure that they are getting the rest they need. They're getting the support they need. And that everything is good for them."

He will be deployed for at least two weeks.
