Phoenix police seek assistance in locating man suspected of shooting estranged wife

​PHOENIX- The Phoenix Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man suspected of shooting his wife.

Police said the suspect, 43-year-old Ramon Quirarte-Mendez, entered his wife's business near 35th Avenue and Thomas Road and shot at her multiple times Tuesday evening.

According to Phoenix PD, their relationship is estranged.

Mendez drives a White 2003 Toyota Corolla with an Arizona license plate numbered BJM3575. He is described as 5'11" and 190 pounds.

If spotted, police ask the public to call 9-1-1 immediately and not to approach the suspect.
