Phoenix man arrested for sending child porn

Man allegedly sent elicit photos of underage children to detectives.

PHOENIX - Detectives from Mesa police arrested a man for sending out child pornography images.

According to Mesa PD, 23-year-old Daniel Alvarez sent images to detectives during their three-month investigation of him.

He was arrested at his home in Phoenix Tuesday. According to police paperwork, Alvarez lives there with his wife and four children.

After being arrested, Alvarez admitted to sending and viewing child porn.

He was booked into jail on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, which is a felony.
