PCSO: Husband shot wife, then himself at San Tan Valley home

SAN TAN VALLEY - A man and a woman were injured after a shooting at a home near West San Tan Heights Boulevard and North Village Lane Monday night, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. 

Deputies said the husband pulled out a gun and shot his wife in the leg during an argument. He then exited the home and shot himself in the head, according to the sheriff's office. 

Both the man and the woman were taken to the hospital. The sheriff's office said the wife is expected to survive her injuries while the husband's injuries are life-threatening.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate.
