Not a quake. What was that shaking in Arizona last night?

We're receiving reports of shaking and a loud boom in the northwest Phoenix area March 2, 2017.

PHOENIX - Did you feel something Thursday night?

We received a lot of reports of ground shaking or loud "booms" around the Valley on Thursday night, but the United States Geological Survey didn't report an earthquake in the area.

The reports started coming in around 9 p.m. Viewers tweeted us what they experienced, which was everything from thunder to multiple booms, from windows rattling to whole houses shaking.

And the reports came in from many different areas around the Valley, including Mesa, Desert Ridge, Scottsdale, north Phoenix, Chandler and more.

If you felt the shaking, you can report it to the USGS, and let us know on our Facebook page or on Twitter.
