For the past 18 years, the Superior Court of Maricopa County has organized one of the largest adoption days in the country.

There are more than 100,000 kids in foster care across the country, but thanks to families like the ones we met Saturday, in Maricopa County, there are now 200 less.

National Adoption Day was started to raise awareness of foster kids.

For the past 18 years, the Superior Court of Maricopa County has organized one of the largest adoption days in the country.

Saturday, more than 200 kids joined with new families.

Abigail Moynihan is one of them, she can now officially call Kristin Moynihan her mom.

"It's just the best feeling ever," said Kristin.

This isn't the first time Kristin's family adopted. Just three years ago, Kristin's older sister, Nicole, adopted Abigail's older siblings.
