The Mesa Fire and Medical Department brought help and holiday cheer to a home Wednesday morning.
According to the department, crews responded to a call and took a man to a hospital after he fell from a ladder. He was putting up Christmas lights.
When they realized this dad wouldn't be able to put up the rest of the lights, three of the firefighters stayed at the scene and finished the job.

"This brought tears to the Mom’s eyes and smiles from the 3 kids who will hopefully enjoy the lights once their father is back home," the department wrote on Facebook.
And their actions appear to be getting a big "thumbs up" from the community.
"You are all awesome!" one person tweeted.
