DPS: 'Person of interest' has come forward in I-10 dog dragging case

DPS says a person of interest has voluntary come forward in the case of a dog that was dragged by a truck.

PHOENIX - The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified a person of interest in the case of a dog dragged to its death on Interstate 10 earlier this week.

The person voluntarily came forward, according to DPS officials, and is cooperating with investigators.

The department's investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, a woman offered a $1,000 reward in the case because she was so horrified about the dog's treatment.

If you have information about this case, you can reach DPS at 602-223-2000.
