DPS catches habitual speeder after chase that reached 130 mph

Sky 12 captured footage of the aftermath where a pursuit suspect fled on foot, but was later arrested.

The Department of Public Safety arrested a man Wednesday who they say has a history of speeding on Valley roads.

DPS said troopers on the ground and a helicopter waited for the repeat offender in an area he is known to drive through. During Wednesday's pursuit, the man reportedly reached speeds of 130 mph.

The man, who was driving a blue bike with green rims, led deputies to his work where he ran inside and hid in the bathroom.

Troopers secured the area near 20th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak, then took him into custody.
