Dog dies in Scottsdale house fire

Firefighters in Scottsdale were all working to take down a house fire that burned overnight.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - A house fire broke out around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday near 68th Street and Thomas Road.

Scottsdale fire said the flames started in a back bedroom and spread to the attic.

Four people were displaced, but made it out OK.

An elderly woman with respiratory problems was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but we're told she is OK.

There were also a cat and dog inside the house. The dog did not make it, the cat is OK.

Firefighters said the house was a hoarder house making it difficult to get the fire out.
