Chandler PD searching for missing endangered woman

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Police are looking for information on a missing endangered woman in Chandler.

Tessa Mae Van Pelt, 26, left her group home near Arizona Avenue and Germann Road Friday night around 5 p.m. and it's not known where she went.

She suffers from an intellectual disability and has been diagnosed with psychological disorders, which require medication.

Van Pelt is described as a white woman around 5 feet tall and 180-200 pounds. She has short brown hair with a blond streak and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing black pants and red and white tennis shoes.

She left the home on foot and does not have access to a vehicle, according to police.
