2 teen girls seriously injured after being hit by possible drunk driver

PHOENIX - A possible drunk driver crashed into two teenage girls Tuesday night, pinning them.

Around 10:30 p.m., Phoenix police said four teen girls ranging in age from 15 to 17 were driving and ran out of gas near 28th Avenue and Cactus Road.

Two girls got out of the car to push it up a hill when a driver police say may have been drunk struck the girls.

An ambulance transported that driver and two teens to the hospital.

Police said the driver had minor injuries.

The two girls had serious but non-life threatening leg injuries.
